Frankincense has been considered scared and valuable since ancient Egyptian times and was also used in religious settings as well as a fragrant perfume which reasoned why it was so expensive.
Even till today, authentic frankincense remained costly due to its labour-intensive work for its harvest and its demand for its vast benefits which includes soothing tensions and aids in relaxation of our minds.
To gather frankincense, one must make cuts out of the trunk of the Boswellia tree can collect its resin sap. This resin will then undergo steam distillate to give frankincense oil.
This frankincense oil profile is then described to possess balsamic notes, with a top note of fruitiness and gives off a woody and spicy scent with subtle green fragrance.

Lavender - a fragrance so well-known and readily accessible that some may even be with you right now. For example, your cosmetics, personal care and cleaning products, pharmaceutical products and even in perfumes.
Their much-raved benefits to our psychological minds have been greatly studied which displayed positive results. Proving over their experiments that it helps ease our stress and negative moods which create good support to people who suffers from insomnia.
With such high demands, labs also formulated the synthetic forms of lavender fragrance. However, if you would like to extract lavender essential oil from their flower spikes, one of the more common technique is steam distillation.
The lavender fragrance can be used in either men’s, women’s or unisex perfumes. Their fragrance is often said to carry freshness with spicy tones, and smells aromatic with clean-floral aroma.

Although woody tones have been an all-time favourite for many men especially in the past, the trends of woody nuanced fragrances have long breached into the women’s perfumes.
Sandalwood is highly valued for its fragrance. It produces a distinct yet sophisticated fragrance, creating an alluring scent in perfumes. Yet, its benefits also extend to help our daily lives and support our mental health. Studies have claimed its fragrance contains calming effects that help patients to sleep better.
Powdered sandalwood is used for steam distillation to collect sandalwood fragrance oil. Its fragrance is listed as a classic oriental woody scent and it smells of a ric, woody, milky yet green notes.

Vanilla

Vanilla is a classic flavour and fragrance for both our desserts and perfumes respectively, where its fragrance is known to smell sweet, delectable and creamy. However, do you know that these vanillas are actually obtain from orchids? Vanilla planifolia is one of the common vanilla orchids grown for this purpose.
Authentic vanilla beans have a very time-consuming and labour-intensive curing processes to produce the vanilla oil extract. As such, the production yield and cost of vanilla could not support and even out the great demand for vanilla. Hence, most of our vanilla products are synthetically made and may not even contain actual vanilla, which we also identify as ethyl vanillin.
However, because both vanilla and vanillin are both similar in scent, they are tested to also produce the similar positive effects to our mental well being and easing depressive symptoms which also helps to improve our sleep.

To End Off,
